I am a graphic designer with an interdisciplinary practice merging visual identity, textile design, web design, writing, tutoring, curating and collaborating on a range of creative projects. I received my MFA in 2D Design from Cranbrook Academy of Art, Michigan, USA, BA in Visual Communication from BIAD, UK and a graduate diploma in fashion and technology from NIFT, Delhi.
Co-founder of Jain&Kriz, a Cologne / Prague based design company offering uniquely handcrafted and sustainable artistic textiles combining new design and old techniques. Spontaneous playful scribbles and doodles are the starting point for developing cheerful home accents. Collaboration between the two partners as well as further with master artisans in Czech and India is a key aspect of the label.
I have been Associate Lecturer of Graphic Design at Prague City University, Czech Republic.
Founder of Project Bawra, a research project focusing on contemporary ornament from / related to South Asia.
