I am a creative practitioner working across drawing, textiles, jewellery and graphic design. Currently, I am developing a craft based artistic practice, research, writing and curation at the Academy of Fine Arts, Munich as part of the Jewellery and Hollowware program. My research (Project Bawra) focuses on ‘Contemporary Body Ornament in a Global South Asian Context’. I received my MFA in 2D Design from Cranbrook Academy of Art, Michigan, USA, BA in Visual Communication from BIAD, UK and a graduate diploma in fashion and technology from NIFT, Delhi.
Co-founder of Jain&Kriz, a design company in collaboration with Krystof Kriz, offering unique, artistic textiles that combine spontaneous playful scribbles and doodles with various old and new techniques, often in collaboration with artisans in Europe and India.
I have been Associate Lecturer of Graphic Design at Prague City University, Czech Republic.
